A major new urban area, Ørestaden, is under development
in Copenhagen. Due to its proximity to the Øresund Bridge,
Copenhagen Airport and the excellent infrastructure in general,
Ørestaden is expected to attract a significant number of
businesses and private residents.
Ørestadsselskabet is responsible for the development and
sale of land in Ørestaden as well as for construction and
bids for operating the Copenhagen metro.
