CITYTUNNELN

The Øresund Bridge has generated a strong increase in traffic in the Malmö area.

Malmö's Citytunneln will have three stations and connect the Øresund link in the west with the railway section in the east. This will considerably enhance the efficiency of Malmö's rail services for passengers and freight.

Citytunneln is expected to open in 2011.
